June brings a celebration of love and self-acceptance that we know as Pride. While Pride celebrations throughout the month are always a fun way to celebrate the movement, this year The Ones To Know will highlight LGBTQQIP2SA+ owned small businesses that you can support to help make a difference in the communities that we call home. These businesses, namely these business owners, are encouraging open dialogues for continued education, and to create a safe space for all to express themselves fully. We encourage you to support these establishments and the entrepreneurs behind them, while continuing to learn about the history and culture of the LGBTQQIP2SA+ community. First up, New York.

Kirrin Finch – for your next shopping adventure.
Owned by Laura Moffat and Kelly Sanders, this clothing boutique provides women and non-binary individuals a better selection of well-tailored, menswear-inspired looks. Fed up with having to settle for ill-fitting men’s clothes and having to spend even more money getting things altered, the Moffats disrupted the market with gender-affirming wardrobe staples (e.g., tweed blazers, sleek chinos and fun-patterned button-down shirts) rooted in sustainability and fair trade practices.
