The Challenge

A beloved favorite in SoCal, Pacifico sought to expand its free-spirited ethos and footprint nationwide.

The brand’s legacy is said to have begun in the small Mexican port town of Mazatlán in the 1900s, where it was originally brewed. In the '70s, a group of surfers traveled down the coast searching for waves—and instead found Pacifico, bringing it back to the U.S.

The Solution

Find Your Own Way

We crafted the ‘Find Your Own Way’ platform to cement Pacifico as the beer for taking a detour, the scenic route, and the path less traveled.

By telling the story through the voice of the surfer who first discovered it, we not only highlight the authentic origins of Pacifico, but tap into the unwavering lust for life the brand represents.

Our campaign sought to bring the Pacifico story to life in a way that would resonate with those familiar with the brand and with new consumers across the country.

This is our first piece of creative work since being named Creative AOR for Pacifico. In leading Pacifico’s go-to-market strategy, we planned and developed a 360 campaign—spanning above-the-line, digital, OOH, social, and influencer.

In addition to our digital-first assets, we’re highlighting the origin message “EST. 1900, Discovered by Accident Circa 1970” to further cement Pacifico’s discovery mindset.

It will be used consistently across TV, digital, social, and OOH to draw people in.
