Bringing people together during uncertain times
In the spring of 2020 as social distancing not only became the new norm—but a mandate—the food and beverage industry had to make drastic decisions: stay open with delivery, or shut down altogether. Chipotle chose to go all-in on delivery.
But how would we get the message out that Chipotle offers delivery, and for free, to help bring you some happiness during quarantine?
Dubbed “Chipotle Together,” these Zoom lunch parties and IG Live Stream gatherings gave fans the opportunity to connect, win burritos, and gave Chipotle the opportunity to spread the free delivery message.
The program began on Twitter on March 13 and continued across social for weeks to follow, partnering with a variety of hosts including Colton Underwood, Portugal The Man, Kaskade, Rob Gronkowski, Sasha Sloane, Luke Bryan, and Melissa Urban to unite Chipotle fans.
All of the partners helped spread the Together message on their channels and helped us bring some joy to our fans while at home.
