Day One Agency—Campaign Magazine’s Agency of the Year and PRovoke Media’s Creative Agency of the Year—is looking for a Senior Animator/Editor to join our growing team. The right candidate will be ambitious, hard-working, and dedicated to telling stories that stop people in their scroll. You’ll take pride in your work, show initiative, and go the extra mile to ensure that our clients are serviced in the best way possible.

Our team is rapidly growing, so you should be comfortable (and flourish) in a deeply dynamic environment. We are looking for a team member with a solid foundation and proven track record of success in storyboarding, animating and editing social videos, branded content and event recap/sizzles. This creative will serve a vital role at Day One.

​​As we look at the opportunity to grow and evolve our bi-coastal studio and production team, we’re looking for a Senior Animator/Editor to evolve our creative abilities and drive forward our team vision of setting a high bar for creative in motion.

The role of the Senior Animator/Editor at Day One is an important piece of the studio. They will work across some of the biggest brands at the agency and have opportunities to see their work showcased at events, conferences, on social, web and beyond. They will work with a team of both full time and freelance designers, animators, motion graphics artists and more.

This position is full time and available in Los Angeles.


  • Take projects from concept through to completion, individually and as a part of a larger team

  • Wear multiple hats, when necessary to make sure every project is completed at a high level

  • Work with input from Creative Directors and senior creatives while also bringing your own eye and creative ideas to the table

  • Create high level storyboards for animation, stop motion and video projects

  • Act as a mentor and go-to resource for our junior-mid level creatives looking to learn motion graphics and refine their editing skills

  • Through exposure and opportunity, learn how to grow in the realm of conceptual thought, creativity and ideation

  • Hold yourself accountable to the highest quality standards and always review all work before submitting for feedback/approval

  • Provide thoughtful creative thinking to every project that you work on


  • 4-6 years of experience working as an Animator-Editor

  • Strong understanding of concepts, story, and how they’re visualized in motion

  • Experience making strong event recap videos, sizzles and branded content

  • Experience in high level motion graphics

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Collaborative spirit and a strong desire for constant improvement

  • Must have a strong background in After Effects, and Premier Pro
