This position is full time and is only available in New York City.

Responsibilities
This role will play a key role in all aspects of the recruitment process at Day One Agency.

  • Schedule candidate interviews (phone, video, in-person)
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure a seamless interview experience for all candidates
  • Act as a point person between candidates/interviewers/recruiters
  • Contribute to DE&I recruitment strategies and actions including but not limited to tracking candidate slates for BIPOC representation and partnering with organizations to grow BIPOC talent
  • Greet candidates when they arrive, settle candidates in for interviews, and notify interviewers when candidates are ready
  • Keep external recruiters informed on any feedback and next steps
  • Act as a liaison with the summer interns and assist in coordinating intern events
  • Open and close requisitions within our Applicant Tracking System and LinkedIn
  • Help to write job descriptions for new positions
  • Prepare paperwork and initiate pre-employment screening such as background checks
  • Coordinate onboarding for new hires
  • Project manage, source and pipeline candidates
  • Assist VP of Human Resources and Agency Leadership in gathering data and reporting
  • Support the HR team with administrative duties
  • Research competitor employment branding techniques for successful recruitment
  • Work with our internal production team on using our social channels for recruitment
  • Keep our career website up to date
  • Assist on ad hoc projects within the Human Resources function

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in Recruiting/Human Resources
  • Capacity to think through both tactics and the big picture
  • Attention to detail, organized, and reliable
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Strong written/verbal communication
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Exhibits an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoys contributing to the creation of new systems, programs, and company culture
  • Passion for people and excitement to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to maintain maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and Google Suite
