This role is full-time, requires a hybrid work schedule, and is available only in New York City.
Role Overview
As a creative-minded Associate Post Producer, you are flexible, used to wearing many hats, juggling several projects, and balancing multiple metaphors. You work fast and are a master of collaboration. You not only produce work, but also help to elevate it.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day delivery priorities
- Oversee asset management & storage for content in a variety of formats (stills, video, etc.)
- Follow established process for asset management, cataloging, and file sharing with clients and internally
- Resource editors, animators, colorists, or any freelancers for projects in collaboration with our creative team
- Assist in managing projects, timelines, budgets and workflows with both in-house and outside production partners
- Collaborate with department heads to map out upcoming content and production needs
- Help to solve on-the-fly production challenges and troubleshoot technical issues
- Facilitate post production execution on fast paced timelines with a high volume of complex deliverables
- Traffic media management and transfer between internal D1A teams to clients and third party companies
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience within content/video post production roles
- Experience in post production (edit, color, VO record, music, mix, VFX)
- Experience collaborating through the creative process, providing team education on limitations and problem solving where needed
- Understanding of localization including various assets such as subtitles, captions, dub credits and how they all work together to create a user experience
- Understanding of color grading, color spaces, aspect ratios and/or theatrical digital cinema mastering, as well as deliverables and assets needed for social
- Knowledge of creating budgets & timelines
- Bachelor's Degree

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $60,000-$75,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include medical insurance (health, dental, and vision), retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, new business and employee referral bonuses, etc. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as candidates' relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
