Creative Producer/ Project Manager - New York City

Day One is looking for a Creative Project Manager to assist with managing processes, productions, resourcing and client deliverables, in addition to facilitating vendor scoping and contracting. In this position, you’ll play a crucial role in how we’ll execute and deliver projects and be part of a team of mixed background creatives, pushing the work as we build an agency for the next ten years (and 24 hours).

You will lead day to day processes that will assist in getting creative projects off the ground through completion, reporting into our Senior Director of Production and VP Creative Director. This role requires a strong mix of creative thinking, social & digital understanding, time management, organizational skills, and most importantly an ability to keep projects on track, on budget and at the highest level of creative excellence.

This role is based in New York, but may require the creative process of projects being led out of both coasts.

Responsibilities:

  • Resource designers & freelancers against the projects in collaboration with our VP Creative Director and Lead Creative Producer

  • Adhere to process for asset management and file sharing with internal team and leads across agency

  • Managing relationships across various in-house teams and a roster of freelancers

  • Assisting to manage timelines, budgets and workflows with in-house and outside production partners

  • Helping to facilitate feedback and applicable correspondence related to approvals

  • Solving on-the fly production and project workflow challenges

  • Initiating and facilitating all paperwork across different productions- including Scopes of Work, project trackers and confirmation of workbacks

  • Assist Lead Creative Producer in coordinating all agreements and payments with vendors pertaining to any in-house production needs

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years experience of project management experience

  • Expertise in liaising among different departments and team leads, navigating against competing priorities

  • Highly organized and systematic when it comes to project management

  • Good presentation skills

  • Thrive in a diverse environment and contribute to the overall culture of Day One

  • Multi-task and prioritize workload with quick turnarounds

  • Excellent problem solving skills, able to comfortably contributing to creative and ideas

  • Understanding of deliverables and assets needed for Social (both Paid and Owned)

  • Ability to track budgets & timelines
